Living Integral Yoga Internship Program
Exciting opportunities to join our teaching team at the Hariharalaya Retreat Center in Siem Reap, Cambodia near the Ancient Temples of Angkor. Both of these positions are to be a part of our inspiring Teaching Staff with 6 international teachers. Hariharalaya is a dynamic community-based learning environment that offers 6 Day retreats to guests as well as ongoing teacher development through a structured internship program.
The Internship Program at Hariharalaya is a 3 month service-based learning program that integrates all aspects of yoga practice (asana, breathing, meditation, devotion, surrender, creativity, silence, and more) into daily life.
The program is a mixture of study, teaching, helping, practicing, and having fun. It is an intensive immersion in simple and conscious living. As an intern at Hariharalaya, you are an integral member of the team in creating a space for people from around the world to come and rediscover themselves and life. It is a truly rewarding, yet challenging process.
Each day bring fresh experiences and unexpected moments. Community living is another core aspect of Hariharalaya. You will be a key member of the community, a role model and an open heart. The non-judgmental, inclusive atmosphere allows us to learn about ourselves by sharing with others.
At Hariharalaya we focus on an integral approach of yoga – awakening and tuning the body, heart and mind through postures, breath, meditation, creativity, silence, dance, laughter and simplicity.
We use yoga as a training to live in the present moment. Our core message is the importance of dedicating some time for a regular daily practice of asana, breath and meditation. A regular daily meditation practice is also a must and an important part of our retreat program.
