Second by second, here and now.
Senior Yoga Teacher
Hi I’m Richie. My first experience with yoga was a sunrise Ashtanga class on a rooftop in India back in 2005. I was instantly hooked and returned every day for three weeks, before taking the practice back to Ireland where I maintained a strong self-practice of yoga and meditation for the next ten years.
In 2015 I returned to India to train as a teacher, where I was introduced to traditional Hatha yoga. Since then I have been passionate about teaching it, as well as Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Pranayama and Meditation, as well as various other workshops, such as yoga anatomy, alignment, philosophy and mindfulness. I look forward to practicing with you

Om! My name is Lexi. My journey with the Hariharalaya family began in 2017, where I began teaching as a yoga intern. I was totally touched and inspired by the sincerity and purity in this sacred space Joel has created. It was five words in particular from this man that would change my life forever… “Lexi, go be with the masters.” Joel inspired me to go meet the Great Saint, Mata Amritanandamayi, also known as Amma. I have now been living in India in Her holy presence. What started as a discipline of the body and mind, has transformed in deep inner blossoming and discoveries of devotion, joy and Love.
Aida graduated in musical studies in 2010 and right after had an urge for a more holistic living which she began approaching becoming a traveling yogini. She currently lives in Italy where she continues offering both yoga and shiatsu.

Since my teenage years, I was fascinated by the supernatural. I knew there was much more to life than what meets the eye. I was eager to find out what lies beyond our ordinary perception so I started inquiring into the nature of our existence through yoga and meditation. This quest eventually led me to India where I studied with my gurus and enlightened masters for several years absorbing their infinite wisdom and compassion.

Matt’s yoga journey formally began at Hariharalaya in 2011. Upon his initiatory meditation with Joel, he began spontaneously laughing with the realization “I’m wandering Asia trying to find myself. I am myself!” Upon hearing the laughter, Joel encouraged Matt to travel to India and study laughing yoga which he did. He has since led groups all around the world including in India, Colorado, Portland, the Philippines, as well as 4 months at Hariharalaya.

‘Life is magic when you know how to focus on the right things in life and release what doesn’t serve you’.
During her healing and self-discovery journey she noticed most people giving away their power instead of looking inward to find their own truth. That’s why in her coaching she guides people to become aware of their beliefs, behaviors, and fears and help them release those to reconnect back to their true self, their heart, and bring the fun, magic and curiosity back into life.
